Multi-Vendor SDWAN Orchestration Portal

Ticvic’s work with Infoquick Global Connection Tech Ltd., a major Managed Service Provider in China, to establish a Multi-vendor SDWAN Orchestration Portal is highlighted in this case study. The project sought to address MSPs’ issues in managing multiple SDWAN vendor products by providing a uniform platform for efficient management and orchestration.

Synopsis:
Network connectivity and security must adapt as organisations go through digital transformation and move workloads to multi-vendor cloud and hybrid cloud environments. In order to achieve this agility, SDWAN (Software Defined Wide Area Network) is a key technology. MSPs faced difficulties managing the products from different SDWAN vendors because they had to be knowledgeable about each vendor’s administration site.

Key Challenges:
The difficulty of meeting varying network and network security needs was one MSPs with clients from various industries had to face. Due to the fact that every SDWAN manufacturer had their own management portal, MSPs had to learn how to administer many portals. The degree of complexity grew as a result of clients choosing various SDWAN vendor products.

Solution Offered:
The Integrated SDWAN Orchestration gateway (iSOP), created by Ticvic, is a single gateway for controlling SDWAN components from several vendors. Each SDWAN vendor’s REST APIs were used by the iSOP, allowing for simple management and integration. Users can choose the SDWAN vendor by login into the iSOP site and enabling the corresponding API and feature modules.

Key Benefits:

Easy Management: The iSOP portal gave MSPs a single-pane-of-glass orchestration interface that made it easier to handle SDWAN solutions from many vendors.

The iSOP portal offered a completely customised user interface and user experience, allowing MSPs to contribute their own design preferences.

Quantitative Results:

Reduction in Training Time: On multi-vendor SDWAN platforms, training time for engineers was cut by 40%.

Deployment Time Reduction: SDWAN solution deployment times were 20% faster.

Qualitative Impact:
Client provided encouraging feedback on improved control over multi-vendor SDWAN infrastructure, centralised management, and increased network visibility. Their network operations could now be managed with greater agility, scalability, and flexibility thanks to the solution.

Techniques and Technologies:
The Multi-vendor SDWAN Orchestration Portal was developed and deployed using a variety of market-leading tools and technologies. This comprised SDWAN vendor-specific solutions, API integration, automation frameworks, and network monitoring and management tools.

This case study showcases Ticvic’s expertise in developing a Multi-vendor SDWAN Orchestration Portal that addresses the challenges faced by MSPs in managing diverse SDWAN vendor products. By providing a unified management platform and streamlining operations, Ticvic enabled Infoquick Global Connection Tech Ltd. to efficiently deliver SDWAN services to their clients.
